60 Plus - Ammadu Lets Do Kummudu! What Is It?

Social Activist Sandhya asked Heroes and Leaders to realize it's the people who made them what they are Today. She fumed on the 4-5 families who are ruling the Telugu Film Industry. 'Three Generations in these families become Heroes. Aren't there any talented people across the Telugu States? These bigwigs amassed crores with people's money. They obtained lands from government for Studios and operating dandha. You achieve stardom…there is Powerstar, Superstar and Megastar. After crossing 60, He says Ammadu Let's Do Kummudu! How many more years should we bear this kummudu? Today, Women has raised voice against the male dominated Industry,' she said.

Sandhya alleged Film Celebs were making Character Artists/Junior Artists to offer commitment to Financiers and Politicians who are funding them. She claimed the ongoing movement would cleanse the Film Industry.

Can't Sandhya see Heroes like Nani, Vijay Devarakonda, Nikhil, Naga Shourya who left a mark of their own without background? When a Doctor's Son can be a Doctor, Why can't a Hero's Son become Hero? Ultimately, It's the people who will decide the future of any Hero irrespective of whether if he have background or not. None of the Star Heroes are preventing anybody from entering the Industry. They have always maintained it's the people who made what they are today.

Why does Sandhya found fault with Chiru for 'Ammadu Let's Do Kummudu'? If there is anything wrong about it, Why blame Chiru alone? Why not Lyricist, Music Director & Director? Any hero will know about a song only after it's been composed by Musician and accepted by Director, sometimes only before the shoot. This particular song is only meant for entertainment not to defame or insult women. When Kajal had no problem sharing screen space with 60-plus hero and doing the song, Why does Sandhya looks at it as a big issue? Focus should be on those who really harassed women in the Industry, not on Powerstar or Superstar or Megastar!
