'Spyder' opened to packed-houses in around 2,700 screens across the World on Wednesday. First Day Worldwide Share (Telugu & Tamil Versions) could be around Rs 24-26 crore. Whereas, The Gross could be close to Rs 41-43 crore.
In AP & Nizam, The Film grossed Rs 23.4 crore and raked in a share of Rs 15.3 crore on Day 1. This is second best opening for Mahesh Babu in Telugu States, as 'Srimanthudu' still holds the top spot.
Revenues have been better than any of the previous films of Mahesh Babu in Tamil Nadu. Brand Image of AR Murugadoss & Wide Release has really helped.
In Overseas, 'Spyder' reached $1 million mark with the premieres itself. It's the fourth biggest opener ever among Telugu films in this territory.
