For Telugu audience, Sridevi introduced herself as Grand daughter of NTR and Anjali Devi, in Badipanthulu movie, singing, "Boochadamma Boochadu bulli pette lo unnadu". She acted in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam at that very young age as Baby Sridevi!

In 60's she just burst on to the scene as one of the cutest young actors in South Cinema. After a few years break, at the age of 13, she took South Cinema by storm with her Pathinaru Vayathunile, directed by Bharathiraja.

The same movie is remade in Telugu by K. Raghavendra Rao as, Padaharella Vayasu and she became a sensation. At that tender age, she acted beside a legend like NTR as his leading lady in Vetagadu and "Aaku Chatu pinde tadise" song made her a sensational beauty that audiences couldn't take their eyes off.

She is not a beauty that you can fantasize about. She is a brilliant actress and even better dancer. She proved it time and again, in her numerous films. She did not flinch while acting with NTR, ANR, Krishna, Sobhan Babu, who are way more older and seniors to her in age and experience.

In Premabhishekam, her scenes with ANR, about love still resonate how good she is in playing drama. Then, she showed her skills as a performer with Kamal Haasan. She acted with him the most in Tamil Cinema and did different roles too.

While she romanced with him as differently abled person in Pathinaru Vayathunile, she tried to tame his aggressiveness in Sigappu Rojapukkal/ Erra Gulabeelu. Then she subtly showed her love and progressive relationship in the film, Akali Rajyam. She showed her versatility by acting as a girl who lost her memory in the movie, Moondrum Pirai/Sadma.

She did not just won the hearts, she stayed there as the Queen Diva and ruled them. She got entry into Hindi films with Nagin and as Chandini, she ruled the Hindi hinterland of Indian Cinema too.

Her song from Mr.India, "Mein Qwabon ki shehajhadi ... Bijili ghirane mein hoon aayi ... Kehte Hein mujhko Hawa Hawai" in Hindi is still famous and her expressions from the songs are still copied by many young actresses.

After being a CBI officer in Aakhari Poratam, she returned to Telugu Cinema, as Divine Angel, Indraja, in the film, Jagadeekaveerudu Athiloka Sundari. She instantly connected to 90's youth as well. She danced with Megastar Chiranjeevi, toe to toe and matched his grace on screen, at the heights of his popularity.

She acted in Kshnakshanam, as a damsel in distress and a different version of that character in Govinda Govinda. Many sang, "Andama Anduma, Andanante Nayana" with Nagarjuna watching her on-screen.

She acted with all the legends of South Cinema, like NTR, ANR, Krishna, Sobhan Babu, Sivaji Ganesan and even with their next generation like Kamal Haasan, Rajnikanth, Megastar Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh and Hindi actors like Rishi Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan to prove her longevity as a glamour queen and talent as an actress.

After a brief relationship with Mithun Chakraborthy, she fell in love with Hindi producer, Boney Kapoor and married him. They have two young daughters, Jhanvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor.

Jhanvi Kapoor is making her entry into films with Dhadak and Khushi is also expected to enter films. She went to bless her relatives marriage to Dubai and decided to go back to Indra as Indiana's work here is over!

But the eternal beauties and Divine Angels have no death! No, Sridevi can never die as her physical presence might be absent but her memories and films will always live on...
