Did Jr. NTR Said No, To That Film?

Jr. NTR became a huge commercial hero just with his fifth film, Aadi and continued to deliver successful films till Simhadri.
After that movie, he had to wait till Yamadonga and after Brindavanam, Baadshah, he once again went through a rough patch before his golden phase started with Temper.
He is giving back to back big commercial entertainers and hoping it to hit huge with Trivikram Srinivas's Aravinda Sametha and then even big with SS Rajamouli's multi-starrer, #RRR with him and Ram Charan.
The buzz is that he got a chance from Dil Raju, to star in Srinivasa Kalyanam, but he rejected, it seems.
Dil Raju, himself narrated the story before Satish Vegnesna could meet NTR with script. The star actor rejected it as it doesn't suit his image, as per the reports.
Dil Raju did say that he considered Ram Charan and Jr. NTR for the story but when he approached Nithiin, the young hero gladly accepted.
He did not say why NTR rejected even though he did accept that they approached him with the proposal. After movie release, many are saying NTR did the right thing.
