Is Rajamouli Risking With RRR?

SS Rajamouli is the only director in South who could make use of VFX perfectly after Shankar. While Shankar always tries to treat the audiences with exciting VFX effects in all his movies, Rajamouli has taken it to the next level at once with the movie Baahubali. The two-part project has set new standards in terms of filmmaking in India. Srinivas Mohan is the brain behind the outstanding visual effects in Baahubali and he also bagged National Award for his work.

Unfortunately, because of his prior commitment of working with Shankar for the film 2 Point O, Srinivas Mohan could not be able to work for Baahubali's second part but is now on board for Rajamouli's RRR.

Recently, Srinivas Mohan interacted with the media and updated that visual effects are also a part of RRR. "Though the film has VFX, it is not everything and will be minimal like any other movie. To be precise, RRR is not a VFX based film," said Mohan who went tight-lipped about revealing other details about the project.

Rajamouli's strength is using VFX and there are a lot who are feeling that the director is risking by not utilizing VFX to the fullest. RRR has Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead roles. DVV Danayya is producing the movie under DVV Entertainments banner.
