When it comes to the release of movies, distributors play crucial role. But the recent developments in the film industry indicate that the star heroes might move away from the film distribution system.

It is known that a distributor of Sardar Gabbar Singh held a press meet recently saying that he lost 2 crore on Sardar. He is asking for compensation in the form of Katama Rayudu rights. He is demanding that Pawan should speak on this issue. Not only this incident, a similar incident happened at the time of Kabali also. An young distributor held a press meet saying that he is receiving warnings from big distributors. As he suffered losses of nearly 10 crore, he has disappeared from the scene later.

It has become a common thing to buy rights of a star hero film with crazy offers. They will not speak a word when they earn profits..if they incur losses.. they will hold a press meet blaming others for their losses. As this has become a trend and denting the image, several star heroes are said to be eyeing on own distribution. Recently released mega movies like Dhruva.. Khaidi No. 150 had almost own release. Nagarjuna usually release Annapurna Studio banner films on his own. By doing so, problems can be avoided for their next films.

Analysts opine that if all the star heroes take this seriously, distribution system will be weakened. They will be left with only small budget films and most of the distributors will be forced to leave industry.
