Pongal Race: Suriya vs Vikram

Kollywood always implements different strategies for their releases. The result of a movie is always not in sync with the collections. Sometimes, a hit movie collects more than expected revenues and sometimes, a flop film too collects revenue that shocks everyone. The star heroes of Kollywood don't try to compete with a film that is already doing well as they feel that it will create an impact on the film's collections.

On Friday, Suriya's Gang and Vikram's Sketch released in the theatres. Both Suriya and Vikram are the star heroes in Tamil. Their movies received positive talk. The films are different from each other. The critics, as well as the common audiences, have praised the movie but we have to see which film will end up as the Pongal winner. It all depends on the collections. As it is a festival season, we need to wait few more days to check which movie will mint more revenues at the box office.

Suriya's film also released in Telugu. Vikram's movie did not release in Telugu yet. Gang was also not supposed to release during the festival season but somehow, the producers brought the film for a release during the festival. Now, Vikram is also planning to come up with his Sketch to treat the Telugu audiences. More details will be out soon.
