There is a widespread disappointment among the people with the way some TV channels are conducting shows these days among the Telugu TV viewers. Going by the comments in the social media, some netizens are even saying that they were disgusted with the developments and they have stopped watching some TV channels. The situation is more or less the same with Tamil TV channels as well.
Recently, anchors tried to evoke fun on star hero Suriya's height on a Tamil music channel and it has attracted widespread criticism from all quarters. As Suriya is known for his talent and decent behavior, many people slammed the TV channel for the slapstick humour. The developments didn't end there. Suriya fans protested against the channel in front of their office and they have demanded an apology.
When Suriya came to know about it, he appealed his fans use their time constructively rather than staging protests against such meaningless comments. Needless to say, Suriya's appeal to his die-hard fans has won appreciation from the people.
On the other hand, Vishal and some other Tamil celebrities criticised the anchors and the channel for tolerating such things. Nadigar Sangam took note of the issue and they have sent a notice to the TV channel seeking clarification.
