RRR movie press meet started in Hyderabad with SS Rajamouli announcing all the details about the story and the cast.
He said, "Tarak will be seen as Komaram Bheem who is born in 1901 and Ram Charan will be seen as Alluri Seetharamaraju who is born in 1897.
Co-incidentally, both freedom fighters went away from their houses in 1920 for few years and came back as great tribal leaders and fought with similar techniques, warfare for tribals. One in Telangana and another in Andhra.
We thought what if they met and got inspired from each other as friends and got trained at same place.
So, the story is a complete fiction based the life of two huge freedom fighters from Telugu land. And again, I would like to confirm that this is a fiction story. This is a complete historical fiction film. Movie will release on 30th July 2020."
