Until recently, Makers used to create a WhatsApp Group soon after launching a new project. Rough Cut Teasers/Trailers and other unofficial content were shared among the film celebs in such a manner. This is how the content was shown to other heroes or directors so far.
Even now such WhatsApp Groups exist but nobody is willing to post crucial info or content on it after the recent incidents. Instead, Laptops have been preferred to show content to any individual. If needed, Makers are making one of their loyal staff members meet the Film Personality along with the laptop to make him/her see it. This is why Heroes and Directors have been mostly receiving laptops for content viewing these days.
