3 Tamil Films In Sankranthi Race!

There was a time when Tamil dubbing films used to show a huge impact on Tollywood. Sometimes they used to collect more than mainstream Telugu films as well. But the situation has been slowly changed in the past few years. Increase in novelty in Telugu films.. decrease in the quality content in Tamil films has reduced the dominance of Tamil dubbed films.

Coming to the present, dubbing films are making their presence felt in Telugu. Last week's releases 'Adirindhi'.. 'Detective' received a good response at the box office. If we talk about this week releases, Tamil dubbed films 'Gruham'.. 'Khakee' received a positive response. This kind of response to dubbed films has recharged the Tamil makers. They are planning to release big-ticket Tamil films which are slated for Sankranthi simultaneously in Telugu.

Pawan Kalyan's 'Agnatavasi'.. Balakrishna's 'Jai Simha'.. Ravi Teja's 'Touch Chesi Chudu' are in Sankranthi race till now. But still, three Tamil dubbed films are getting ready for Sankranthi release. Suriya's 'Thana Sernda Koottam' Telugu version, Vishal's 'Abhimanyudu'.. Vikram starrer 'Sketch' are releasing in the Sankranthi season.

As Tamil dubbed films are encountering problems in the censoring, they are reportedly planning to complete censor in the month of December itself. We have to wait and see how they will manage to get an adequate number of theaters for their films because Telugu filmmakers will fight among themselves for more theaters. Usually, filmmakers hesitate to compete with Pawan films and Balayya's Sankranthi releases but Tamil heroes appear to be not scared of Pawan, Balayya!
