Kollapur assembly constituency is the burrough of Minister Jupalli Krishna Rao. But, this time around, the Congress wants to unseat him. But, herein lies the problem. All the three key Congress leaders want their protégés to become the candidate.
In 2014, the Congress fielded Harshavardhan Reddy, who lost to Jupalli. This time around, he wants to contest again and has the full support of firebrand politician DK Aruna. She says Harshavardhan has all the chances of winning this time as the tide is turning against Jupalli.
