Tollywood Star In Mani Ratnam's Dream Project

Mani Ratnam is keen to work with Tollywood Stars Nagarjuna, Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan and Nani since few years. However, Those projects hasn't materialised for reasons best known to these Heroes.
Reportedly, Mani Ratnam is very particular about casting one among Vijay Devarakonda and Nani for his dream project which is based on Tamil novel 'Ponniyin Selvan'.
Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and Vikram have been roped for this trilingual project already. If a Tollywood Star joins the project, Mani Ratnam will have ample budget to do justice to the subject. This flick could be made with a mammoth budget of Rs 150 crore.
Mani Ratnam failed to rule the Box Office in the past decade. 'Ok Gangaram' was the best project he delivered during this period. Although 'Nawab' managed to get good reviews, It didn't do well in the Telugu Circuit. So, Mani badly needs a Telugu Star for marketing his prestigious project.
