When Trivikram Sent Back His Remuneration?

Agnyaathavaasi' damaged the brand value of Trivikram Srinivas so much. He faced severe backlash from none other than Pawan Fans who were always supportive of him for failing to meet the expectations.
'Largo Winch' Director Jerome Salle made a hue & cry over Trivikram Srinivas taking inspiration from his movie for 'Agnyaathavaasi'. He claimed to be clueless whether or not Harika & Hasini Creations had a deal with T-Series which obtained the official remake rights of 'Largo Winch'.
During the pre-release promotions of 'Aravindha Sametha', Trivikram reacted on 'Agnyaathavaasi' plagiarism allegations: 'Neither did I pay money for Jerome Salle nor T-Series. Nobody contacted Me till date. Had If they asked Me, I would have paid them with a heavy heart. As My Producer lost huge amount, I had returned My Remuneration. I could do that much!'.
When quizzed if the allegations damaged his reputation, The Filmmaker shot back, 'What can we do about it? What is the need for carrying a dustbin everyday…better to have a flower in it'.
