'Just Heard About NTR, Don't Know Much!'

Vidya Balan joins the shoot of NTR biopic in which she essays the role of Nandamuri Basavatarakam. 'People knew about Basavataralam as NTR's Wife but they don't have any idea of what she is as a person. That's the reason I had signed this project. Focus will be on depicting her personality in the biopic,' she shared.
The 'Kahaani' Actress recalls hearing about NTR when she used to visit Hyderabad to meet her Mami & Mama during her childhood days. She, however, admits not knowing much about the Legendary Personality. Upon signing 'NTR', Vidya researched enough about the life of Telugu's Pride to do justice to her role.
Actually, Vidya Balan was approached for female lead role in 'Shankardada Zindabad'. She couldn't sign the Chiru-starrer due to the clash of dates with Bollywood Projects. Finally, The powerhouse performer got the opportunity to make her Telugu debut with a prestigious project.
