The liplock posters of Tollywood latest hit 'Arjun Reddy' have created a huge controversy recently. It is known that senior Congress leader V.Hanumantha Rao has strongly reacted on the liplock posters by tearing them down, hero Vijay Devarakonda responded him with a satire 'Chill Thathayya'. The controversy is still continuing.
Telangana IT minister KTR recently watched 'Arjun Reddy' and appreciated the film. Responding on the appreciation, VH alleged that Vijay Devarakonda is a close relative of KTR and that's the reason why he praised the film. Vijay wrote an open letter on his Facebook page to VH in response to his allegations.
He wrote that "If appreciating Arjun Reddy makes KTR my relative, everybody who appreciated the film became my relatives. SS Rajamouli garu is my father. Rana Daggubati Actor Nani Sharwanand Varun Tej are my brothers. Naku sisters ante feeling Ella untado teliyadu kabbati Samantha Ruth Prabhu Anu Emmanuel and Mehreen Pirzada na mardalu. And 5days lo over 5000+ shows ne full chesina na students, men and women andaru na twins. And RGV sir ithe Mana iddarlo evari father o Inka clarity ledu. While we are on our feet working and taking Cinema and mindsets forward some of us are stuck in thodagottatam. #ThatayaChill."
Irrespective of these controversies, 'Arjun Reddy is minting money at the box office. The movie is getting huge appreciation from youth. In fact, the VH-Vijay Devarakonda episode is bringing more publicity to the film. We have to wait and see how the senior Congress leader reacts to this open letter.
