Swapna, Priyanka Supported Me: Deverakonda

It is very tough for a newcomer to settle down in Tollywood as a hero.. that too when he doesn't have a filmy background. The heroes with strong background are struggling to make their presence felt because the competition is so high in the film industry. But Vijay Deverakonda has cracked the nut and achieved star image.
Vijay has his share of troubles before he achieved stardom with 'Arjun Reddy'. Vijay acted in hit films like 'Yevade Subramanyam'.. 'Pelli Choopulu' but he didn't achieve image as a hero. Vijay opened up on his situation at the time of 'Yevade Subramanyam'. He said that he has unexpectedly chosen movies as his career. He said that when he has done 'Yevade Subramanyam' he thought that he can settle down in Tollywood.
Vijay said "I expected that many offers would come to me after 'Yevade Subramanyam' but that didn't happen. I had to stay idle for a year after the release. I was sad at that time. I didn't know what to do and asked 'Yevade Subramanyam' producers Priyanka, Swapna for the guidance. I got an offer in 'Pelli Choopulu' with their help. They have helped me in getting 'Arjun Reddy' offer as well."
He said that he has no words when he was receiving Filmfare award because he was nominated for the award along with Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Balakrishna.
