Usually, the filmmakers who wanted to make an international release tends to release the movie in the US. But the trend is changed and all the star directors are planning for China release. After Bollywood movies like PK, Secret Superstar, Dangal and Our Tollywood magnum opus Baahubali made record-breaking collections at China box office, even Kollywood filmmakers are also getting inspired. The makers of Tamil star hero Vijay's 'Mersal' movie are gearing up to release the film in China.
Touted to an action entertainer, 'Mersal' featured Vijay in a triple role with Kajal, Samantha and Nitya Menon as the female leads. The movie became a blockbuster and made 200 crores in Tamil Nadu. 'Mersal' got released in Telugu as 'Adirindi' and made decent collections.
But now 'Mersal' is going to hit the China theatres and popular distribution company HGC is releasing the film in China. The fans are super excited about it. If the movie becomes a hit then all Vijay's movies will get released in China as well.
