Why Mani Sharma blamed Star Heroes?

Mani Sharma remained as the Top Music Composer in Telugu Film Industry for a decade. He, however, was overshadowed by young composers Devi Sri Prasad and SS Thaman in the past 10 years or so. Currently, He is scoring music for low-budget films 'Fashion Designer S/o Ladies Tailor' and 'Ami Tumi'.
In his recent interview, Mani Sharma blamed Star Heroes for the pathetic state of Telugu Songs at present. 'We aren't able to get the songs which last for ever. Star Heroes should be held responsible for it. While few Heroes ask for mass numbers, Others seeks the tunes which offer them scope to dance. We have to compose the tunes based on the requirements of Heroes. May be, I wasn't able to deliver good music for films such as 'Teen Maar', 'Khaleja' and 'Shakti' due to the same reason,' he said.
