When Venky MIssed Mani Ratnam's Hit

A long time ago, initially director Mani Ratnam approached Victory Venkatesh to play the lead role in 'Roja' movie. But the senior actor failed to do the film.
Recently, during an interview, Venky remembered this episode. "I also would have settled in Bollywood. But because I broke my hand, I couldn't do the film. Though I missed 'Roja' movie, I acted in 'Sundarakanda' and my career changed after that. As you all know, I have done family movies and became very close to the family audience. There is no use in thinking about the films that I didn't do because life is all about taking the opportunities and moving forward" said Venky revealing that he is not his that kind of a guy who regrets the opportunities he missed.
"Everyone has fantasies but only a few can do it. I also want to do a movie with like 'Baahubali'. But we should get the opportunities first. I only select the stories that came to me. Whenever I see Amitabh Bachchan or Aamir Khan movies, I want to do such films. I like to do experimental movies" added Venky.
