Almost all the Telugu films in which Lead Actors essayed the role of a Brahmin have stirred a controversy in the past few years. From Adhurs to Denikaina Ready, A lot of films were criticized by the Brahmin Community for portrayal of them as Comedians or for Adult Content. Will 'DJ - Duvvada Jagannadham' be the next flick to get embroiled in the controversy?
Allu Arjun's New Look as Brahmin in 'DJ' has been widely appreciated by the Movie Buffs. Bunny is aware of the controversies in the past. So, He instructed Harish Shankar to present him in a respectful manner as long as he appears as Brahmin on screen. At the same time, He wants the character to be very endearing and entertainer. Currently, Shoot of 'DJ' is happening in Karnataka. The unit will be landing in Dubai soon for a 20 Days schedule. Some fight sequences and crucial talkie portions will be shot here. With this schedule 80% of the shoot would be completed and May release becomes almost certain.
