After a long gap of 27 years, Disney has revealed the 'special look' trailer of the remake of everyone's childhood favorite 'Aladdin' at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards Show.
The film gives us a glimpse at Will Smith in the popular blue genie avatar. The movie is all set to release in this May. It is known that 1992-released Aladdin became a classic film and we can expect that this movie is also going to be a blockbuster for sure. Guy Ritchie is helming the project. Mena Massoud will be seen as Aladdin, Naomi Scott is playing the role of Jasmine and Will Smith will be the Genie. The movie is set with the backdrop of a Middle Eastern city. Mena Massoud is seen walking up to the Cave of Wonders, and we get the glimpse of Jasmine. Will Smith's Genie avatar is an eye feast.
Will Smith had earlier said that the major addition will be him playing the Genie with the hip-hop base which will be fun for people as there hasn't been a lot of hip-hop flavor in Disney history.
