Yami Gautam debuted into the film industry with Kannada movie 'Ullasa Utsaha', the remake of Telugu super hit film 'Ullasamga Utsahamga' in 2009. Though she went on to act in several languages including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, she couldn't make it big in the film industry.
She acted in films like 'Nuvvila', 'Gauravam', 'Yuddham', 'Courier Boy Kalyan' but none of these films gave a much-needed break. The same is the case with other film industries as well. She went on to act in several films in Hindi but she didn't score a much-needed hit. As success is evading her for a long time, Yami has changed her route and she made it a point to appear hot. She is presently undergoing training in Pole Dancing. She has revealed the same through her Instagram account.
She posted a pole dance training video of herself and wrote that "Tough is an understatement, love for this however is overwhelming !! Can't wait to swirl again, #poledancing #secondsession #evidentlynervous #throwback, P.S - @aarifa.pole.burnt reminds me to smile as well".
