Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi expressed the view that the whole country is being run by dynasty politics during his address at the University of California on Tuesday. He even made fun of the criticism on him being a dynast by comparing Politicians with Film Stars & Industrialists. 'Dynasty Politics is a problem in all parties. Akhilesh Yadav (SP), MK Stalin (DMK), Amitabh Bachchan (S/o Big B), Mukesh Ambani & Anil Ambani (S/o Dhirubhai Ambani) are examples of dynasty legacy, that's how the country is running. Don't come after Me? Capability of an individual matters the most,' he said.
Bollywood Actor Rishi Kapoor lashed out at Rahul Gandhi by claiming his Family (Prithviraj Kapoor, Raj Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor) survived in the Film Industry for four generations by earning people's respect and trust not because merely due to dynastic clan. He went on to say Kapoor's contributed for 90 out 106 Years of Indian Cinema. 'Every Generation is chosen by public on merit. So don't bullshit people on "Dynasty" You have to earn people's respect and love through hard work not zabardasti and gundagardi,' he added.
The views expressed by Rishi Kapoor are absolutely true? Rahul Gandhi need to earn some respect from public instead of trying to defend dynasty politics by drawing comparisons with other politicians or actors or business honchos. The entry of a Dynast may be easy but survival for longer duration depends solely on one's talent.
