Dashing director Puri Jagannadh surprised everyone by giving a 'casting call' for his next film with Nandamuri Balakrishna.. just like a film with newcomers. That too.. not for one or two characters..the casting call is for a total 12 characters. That's even more surprising. No one could understand the intention behind the casting call as there are several artistes available in the neighboring film industries.
The meaning of this casting call is that they do not want any established artistes. There are very less chances that such artists will go to auditions like this. So, newcomers will send applications for these characters. As Balayya - Puri combo carries very good craze, they will receive hundreds.. thousands of applications for sure. Then it is going to be a daunting task. Shortlisting the applications and selecting the actors is one level.. and training them to suit the requirements of the film is completely different level.
Suppose the output of these artistes is 'ordinary' by any means after following such tedious process, then it is not at all acceptable. This kind of situation is not going to be funny.. as Puri is directing Balayya this time. As the combination is carrying huge craze, intensity levels should not be decreased. So the actors should get solid training. But Puri has already announced the release date as September 29. Many are doubting now that..when will he complete this procedure.. when will he start the shoot.. and when complete the film. It has become a million dollar question now.
