Court Rejects Bail Plea Of Rhea Chakraborty

A Mumbai court on Friday rejected the bail petitions of Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik and four other persons arrested by NCB for their involvement in a drugs case linked to Sushant Singh Rajput's death.
Along with Rhea and Showik, Sushant's house manager Samuel Miranda, house help Dipesh Sawant, Bandra residents Zaid Vilatra and Abdel Basit Parihar had moved the court for bail.
In her bail petition, Rhea said she had not committed any crime and had been falsely implicated in the case. But the NCB argued that if bail is granted, Rhea may tamper with the evidence and also try to win over witnesses using her fame and money power. However, Rhea's lawyer will now approach the Bombay High Court for bail.
