No Modi-Shah Hawa In Those States
X
The hawa of Narendra Modi-Amit Shah continued since 2014 Lok Sabha Polls. Saffron Party managed to form government in 19 out of 22 States which has gone for polls since then. In 2014, BJP formed government in Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Jammu & Kashmir and Haryana. The Saffron Party, however, tasted defeats in Delhi and Bihar in the year 2015. While BJP managed to create history in North-Eastern States (Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur) in 2016, It faced defeat in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Puducherry. In 2017, BJP formed government in UP, Himachal Pradesh and Tripura. With utmost difficulty, BJP managed to retain power in Gujarat in the year 2018. However, Congress-JD (S) stunned it in Karnataka.

Surprisingly, Modi-Shah Mark is completely missing in the poll bound states Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. BJP Chief Ministers (Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Vasundhara Raje and Raman Singh) have been implementing their own strategies to retain power, instead of relying on either Modi or Shah.

Polling in Chhattisgarh has ended. Raman Singh would get the credit if BJP retains power here.

Anti-Incumbency is high in Rajasthan. Still, CM Vasundhara Raje is moving ahead with the goal of proving the pre-poll surveys wrong.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan might create history by forming government for the fourth consecutive term in Madhya Pradesh.

Modi-Shah doesn't have much to do in Mizoram. There is a possibility of hung assembly in the North-East State.

In Telangana, Modi & Shah will campaign but mayn't be able to leave a mark of their own.

If BJP attains favorable results in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan, People might stop talking about Modi-Shah mark. Unfavourable results in those three BJP-ruled states indicate the end of BJP hawa.
