One Godman gets 20 Yrs Jail - Other Acquitted!

Self-styled Godman Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh who is the chief of Dera Sacha Sauda based in Haryana got 20 years jail sentence for rape of two of his female followers. Just a day after this sensational verdict, A Religious Leader in Haryana got acquitted in the case related to illegal confinement.
When Cops stormed his 12 acre Ashram in Hisar to arrest him after he ignored more than 40 summons to appear in Court in connection with a murder case, Followers of Satguru Rampalji Maharaj formed a human chain by holding stones, guns and lathis to protect him. This evacuation process took place in 2014.
In 2006, This Godman had allegedly instructed his supporters to attack a group of villagers and one person died in this rioting. Verdict of this murder case is yet to be delivered.
After the days long evacuation, Police found the bodies of four women who died in the Ashram. Many people told cops they had been forcibly confined and offered little food to stop the arrest of God. Satguru Rampal obtained a clean chit in the case related to wrongful confinement.
