Pelli Choopulu, has become the surprise hit and it launched the careers of Vijay Devarakonda, Ritu Verma and Tharun Bhasscker, the director. Raj Kandukuri produced the movie. As the movie is released by Suresh Babu with a clear promotional plan in his head, the movie managed to become such a hit.
Before, Raj Kandukuri could make a deal with Suresh Babu, he met Madhura Sreedhar. The filmmaker is known for his medium and low budget coming of age movies. So, he became the first audience for Pelli Choopulu apart from the cast members and crew. He suggested Raj Kandukuri to go to Suresh Babu and also, recommended Suresh Babu about buying the movie. As that deal became the most successful one, Suresh Babu has accepted another deal brought by Madhura Sreedhar in favour of Raj Kandukuri's Mental Madilo.
Sri Vishnu and Nivedha Pethuraj, starrer, Mental Madhilo is directed by Vivek Athreya. The movie Theatrical trailer has already made waves in the social media as it looks as cool as Pelli Choopulu. So, can this movie be another Pelli Choopulu? We have to wait and see.
