Samantha Akkineni in her interview talked about her film, U-Turn. She said, "This kind of film has never been made on Telugu screen and it will be an unique experience.
I wanted to do the movie when I heard about it and I got it touch with Pawan Kumar, the director, even before he made it Kannada and after watching the film, I wanted to do it for sure.
I contemplated on producing the movie with Naga Chaitanya but we decided to wait for a good producer to come along.
Final 20 minutes are the key for the film and that part made me do the film, in first place too. Pawan is a niche director and he made the film very different to original.
Both Shailaja Reddy Alludu and U-Turn will receive good response on 13th September. I wish and pray so."
