The illegal mining in Gurajala Constituency is another big scam during the TDP Government. YSR Congress constituted a Fact-Finding Committee to find out who is behind the scam. Unfortunately, State Government used police force against the YSRC Leaders who were fighting against the illegal mining.
YCP Senior Leader Botsa Satyanarayana, Guntur MLA Mustafa, Former Market Yard Chairman L Appireddy were arrested and shifted to Duggirala Police Station. Narsaraopeta MLA G Srinivas Reddy, Guntur YCP Coordinator Kasu Mahesh Reddy, YCP Legislative Party Leader Ummareddy Venkateswarlu, Ambati Rambabu, Marri Rajasekhar were house arrested. Mahesh Reddy declared YCP Committee will tour Gurajala at any cost.
Opposition Leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy condemned the unlawful arrests of YSRCP leaders, who were part of the Fact-Finding Committee for Gurajala mining scam. He opined Government resorting to Section 144 is enough to prove who is culpable. YCP Chief questioned CM Chandrababu Naidu how long will he use the brutal police force to suppress voices and cover up his scams.
