Jagans Crucial Step On Special Status
X
YS Jaganmohan Reddy who is fighting for Special Category Status took a sensational decision now. Already, Yuva Neta moved No Confidence Motion against NDA Government on behalf of YSR Congress Party. He even announced YCP MPs would resign soon after the end of Budget Session if Union Government continues to deny Special Status. This time, He took yet another crucial decision.

YSR Congress Supremo announced YCP MPs would head to AP Bhavan soon after submitting resignations as soon as Budget Session ends to launch Indefinite Fast. He appealed people of AP to come in support the movement led by the Main Opposition.

Jagan gave a call for Students and All the sections of people to reach Delhi for supporting the fast-unto-death of MPs. He declared Deekshas will happen at every Assembly Constituency in the state in support of the YCP MPs.

This is a master stroke by YS Jagan to expose the Ruling Party and build the pressure on Centre. YCP Chief asked CM Chandrababu Naidu to answer the 6 Questions raised by him…

1) Union Cabinet approved Special Status and passed the orders to Planning Commission at the time of bifurcation. Chandrababu became CM in June 2014. Special Status file remained with Planning Commission for seven months (Till Dec 2014). What has Chandrababu done in those 7 Months?

2) When Jaitley announced Special Package on September 8th, 2016, Chandrababu questioned what more could Special Status fetch and even passed a resolution thanking Centre. When the Finance Minister made similar statement recently, Chandrababu made his Ministers resign? Was there any difference in both the statements of Jaitley? Wouldn't Centre announce Special Status had if Babu came out of NDA when Special Package was offered?

3) TDP Government tried to suppress the Special Status Movement in the past four years. When I took up fast-unto-death, This Govt sent cops in the early hours to remove the tent and foiled my deeksha. Chandrababu threatened to book cases under PD Act against Students for seeking Special Status. What explanation does Babu offer now?

4) Would Naidu move No Confidence Motion if YCP didn't take the initiative? After saying he would support YCP's Motion, He took a u-turn and moved the Motion on behalf of TDP. Our MPs garnered necessary support from other parties to pass the Motion. All of a sudden, Chandrababu claims all parties supported the motion after TDP moved it. What does that mean?

5) Chandrababu enacted another drama with All-Party Meeting. It's like a notorious thief seeking advices to curb robberies. During the meeting, Babu asked parties and organizations not to stage protests, not to involve students in the movement. Can we get Special Status with such measures? Will Delhi Leaders accept our demands if we go to offices with Black Badges?

6) Wouldn't Centre succumb to the pressure if all the AP MPs resign at once? But, Chandrababu won't make his MPs resign why because he fears cases on his corrupt practices and jail sentence. Babu wants MPs to protest in Parliament if cases were booked against him. He is mortgaging Special Status for personal gains once again. How should we react?
