This BJP Leader Is Fighting The Last Battle Of His Political Life

He is an old warhorse - a winner of many battles. Once, he was called the Lion of Golconda. But, today he is a shadow of himself. Age seems to have taken a toll on him. Baddam Bal Reddy, the BJP old horse, is a veteran leader but is perhaps fighting the last political battle of his life from Rajendranagar in Rangareddy district.

Now, after having got the party ticket in a fierce battle within, Bal Reddy is showing signs of fatigue and is not campaigning wholeheartedly. The old age seems to be catching with this once famed leader. His movements are sluggish and his responses feeble. So, he is unable to inspire confidence among the party leaders.

Already over 11 candidates vied for the Rajandranagar seat. When they could not get, they have adopted non-cooperation tactics. They are saying good things in Bal Reddy's presence, and once he is out of sight, they are hobnobbing with the TRS candidate. The TRS candidatetoo is an old RSS hand like Bal Reddy and is known to be a protector of Hindu interests in the constituency. The second and third level workers are not giving their full for Bal Reddy.
