Vijay Devarakonda starrer 'Taxiwala' movie became a surprise hit in Tollywood recently. As the unedited version of the movie got leaked on the internet before the release date, the film carried low expectations. But the timing of film's release m made it become one of the biggest winners at the box office.
This low budget supernatural comedy is making big numbers at the box office. The distributors of the film have been enjoying profits from the first weekend itself. But as superstar Rajnikanth and Director Shankar's magnum opus '2.O' got released on November 29th, everyone thought that 'Taxiwala' will wrap up its full run at the box office. But, interestingly the moviegoers are still showing interest to watch Vijay Devarakonda's movie. Though '2.O' is getting a good talk from the audience, most of them are showing interest in watching the film in 3D and the occupancy in the small theatres is very low. So, most of the theatres are still screening 'Taxiwala' movie which has been making good collections by the end of the 3rd week as well.
We can say that there are no possible obstacles for 'Taxiwala' movie in the next five to six days. Even, the audience are shocked to see a small budget movie like 'Taxiwala' dominating a magnum opus made with the massive budget of 500 crores.
