Voters Can Vote Anywhere From India: EC Commissioner
X
The Election Commission which had a hectic schedule with the recent Delhi Assembly polls has made busy itself in yet another big task.

Keeping a full stop to the problems to the Voters who move to various places on job purposes the EC is trying to enable the voters to cast their votes from anywhere in the country.

Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora talked about this and said they are trying to capitalize on the technology for this. He went on to say that the EC is making efforts to develop the BlockChain technology with the help of IIT Madras to make this happen.

If this historic change comes into action this will be a revolutionary change in the election system. This can even counter the dropping percentage of voting at various places as people move to different places for employment purposes.

The voters should go to the nearby polling booths to cast their votes as there is no facility to register their votes online. Even though if the EC creates a new technology to make this happen, amendments must be changes to the existing laws.
