Nothing seems to be going Nirmala Sitharaman's way off late. The Defence Minister irked her own government recently by giving false information about the Rafale Deal. Once again, She made headlines for all the wrong reasons.
Tamil Nadu Deputy CM O Panneerselvam requested Nirmala Sitharaman for an air ambulance belonging to Defence Ministry to shift his brother from a Hospital in Madurai to Apollo Hospital in Chennai. Defence Minister issued orders granting permission for it.
O Panneerselvam sought the appointment of Defence Minister to thank her personally. While speaking to media at Chennai airport, OPS informed he is on his way to Delhi to show his gratitude to the Union Minister who helped his family a lot. This leak from the Tamil Nadu Minister sparked an uproar.
DMK Working President MK Stalin demanded the resignation of Nirmala Sitharaman questioning how could Defence Ministry's Air Ambulance be used for a Politician's Family. Nothing wrong about helping someone who is battling for life but will the Public Representatives react in the same manner if it's the life of a common man.
