This is nothing sort of a sensation. Arresting the son of a Central Minister has become a hot topic now. What is more surprising is that BJP is sharing power with Nithish Kumar party JD(U) in Bihar. There was a high drama before police have arrested the minister's son.
Central Minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey's son Arijit Shashwat conducted a rally on March 17. There are allegations that Arijit raised provocative slogans which lead to communal clashes between two religious groups in Bhagalpur. Violence erupted with his procession and stones pelted on one another. Police personnel, common people were also injured in the communal violence.
But the Central minister clarified that his son has nothing to do with the communal violence. Even party leaders tried to give a clean chit to the minister's son. There are allegations that Lalu Prasad Yadav's RJD.. Congress party jointly conspired for communal violence. Bihar CM and NDA partner Nitish Kumar took a sensational decision after the communal violence broke out.
As the pressure was mounting on the ruling party from the opposition to take a strong action, Nitish passed orders the police department to conduct a thorough investigation into the whole issue. On the other hand, Court has rejected anticipatory bail for Arijit. The police have finally arrested Arijit Shashwat yesterday night. Surprisingly party members are saying that Arijit himself surrendered to the police. On the whole, arresting Central minister's son has become a hot topic in the political circles.
