Devadas Kanakala, the senior actor who has been in the movie industry for many years and entertained us with different roles passed away today in Hyderabad. The actor has been suffering from health issues for the past few weeks and he breathed his last today.
More than an actor, Devadas Kanakala is a successful acting teacher. Along with his wife, Devadas Kanakala trained the actors Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Rajendra Prasad, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Nasser, Pradeep Shakthi, Bhanu Chander, Arun Pandyan, Ramkee, Raghuvaran and many others.
Devadas' wife passed away last year and his son Rajeev Kanakala is a popular actor in Tollywood. His daughter-in-law Suma Kanakala is a popular TV host. Upon coming across the news, a lot of film personalities expressed their deepest condolences.
