Raja The Great, C/o Nethralaya!

We have been seeing many visually impaired living around us trying to overcome their lack of vision with many other abilities that make them special. Nethralaya is one educational Institution in Telugu States, trying to help those specially privileged persons to get educated and acquire special abilities to become more confident about themselves.

Ravi Teja, the actor who is revered as Mass Maharaja, decided to make a comeback post his sabbatical from films, with Raja the Great, the movie in which he acts a visually impaired person. The movie right now, is in the last leg of the shooting and it is scheduled for a release on 12th of October. Anil Ravipudi is directing the movie.

As the movie team is inspired by the character and the difficulties the blind people face, they attended the 10th Anniversary celebrations of Nethralaya and spent an evening in the presence of the specially privileged children. Rather than looking at this as a promotional stunt we have to look at this as a gesture inspired by the difficulties faced during the shoot of such a tough character. Also, the team did not try to use this as a movie promotional event. Kudos to the team of Raja The Great!
