How Veer Shiva disappointed BJP?

In what could be seen as a shock to the BJP, Kamalapuram former MLA and senior TDP leader Veer Shiva Reddy has announced that he is going to join the YSRCP. He said he will join the YSRCP in the presence of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Though Veer Shiva Reddy's resignation from the TDP was a foregone conclusion, it is more a shock for the BJP as it expected him to join the party. Belying BJP's expectation, he announced that he would join the YSRCP. He further said that the rumours of his joining the BJP were all false.
Veer Shiva was unhappy with the way tickets were given in the TDP. He was upset that those who have no chances of winning the elections were given tickets and this has affected the TDP prospects in a very significant way, he said. He also said that he was joining the YSRCP without any conditions. He also announced that his son and former DCCB chairperson Anil Kumar Reddy and all his supporters too will join the YSRCP.
Veer Shiva Reddy won on the Congress ticket in 2009 and joined the TDP in 2014. He was an MLA twice.
