AZIndia.com is an upcoming distribution in overseas, proudly announces that they have acquired the USA theatrical rights of Universal hero Kamal Hassan's much awaited bilingual neo-noir crime thriller film "Cheekati Rajyam" directed by Rajesh M. Selva .
Versatile actor, noted director cum producer, universal hero Kamal Hassan who doesn't need any introduction to film goers is playing a lead role in this film. Kamal who created sensation with his last action film 'Viswaroopam' is getting ready to break that record with "Cheekati Rajyam". The screen-play is also written by Kamal and in recent interview, he said that this film screen-play would be his career best. After EAANADU Kamal Hassan is going to entertain Tollywood film lovers with a straight Telugu film "Cheekati Rajyam" A racy thriller, which is to unfold in a single night at a bar called Insomnia.
Director Rajesh who worked as associate director for super hit films, "Vishwaroopam", "Uttama Villain", "Vishwaroopam 2" is making his debut as director with this movie. Rajesh is a promising director though a debutant, making this film with a core confidence & with a versatile story line based on neo-noir crime elements.
During the action packed trailer launch,Prakash raj said that the film will create a new path in the thriller genre in Indian cinema. He said, "In a long time, I've felt we've made a film that is totally organized with a vision."
Sizzling beauty Trisha, Multi-talented actor Prakash Raj, one of the best support actresses Asha Sarath, actor Kishor, scorching beauty Madhu Shalini and others are playing prominent characters in the film.
Kamal Hassan's own banner Raaj Kamal Films International has produced this film which is one of most expensive film in career of Maestro. Dialogues were written by Abburi Ravi.
The film is scheduled for grand release on Nov, 10th worldwide and grand primer shows are arranged on Nov, 9th in USA. This would be the first film of Kamal Hassan which will have more number of premier shows in USA. The trailer which was released recently has acquired tremendous response from viewers and also movie fraternity.
