Akkineni Nagarjuna, the senior hero in Telugu industry, has carved his niche in tollywood with different roles in many films. He is experimenting with the characters in his films. He almost portrayed all kinds of roles in his film career so far. He always shows his interest to do challenging roles in his films.

Once heroes attain the stardom, they try to retain it.Hence, they prefer only top directors to work with them. But, Nagarjuna is exception in this case.Since, shiva film with Ram Gopal Varma, he has been giving the offers to many young budding directors to work with them. Regardless of their experience in direction, he is accepting to act in their films. He only gives the importance to the script whether it suits his body language and age or not. He prefers Scripts rather than the background of the director.

For instance, Nagarjuna's recently released film Damarukam was directed by small budget director Srinivas Reddy. His earlier films were Tata Birla Madyalo Laila and Bommana Brothers and Chandana Sisters. Nagarjuna's new projects Love Story' and Bhaai' are also being directed by budding Young directors Poolarangadu fame Veerabadram and Mr.Perfect' fame
Dasarath.Nagarjuna has proved that the script will speak a lot than the background of the director.
