To their surprise, she rejected the offer immediately after knowing, that Naresh will be the protagonist. Reportedly she said "I don't want to end my career acting beside Naresh. No heroine was succeeded after being his love interest in the film. I am even ready for bikinis and lip-lock scenes but not to pair up with Naresh". This might be the reason why we see new heroines in Naresh's films as no other established heroine is ready to take the risk. This situation is almost same in the case of hero 'Sivaji'.
