The shooting went on smoothly in the morning, though there was a huge crowd who were waving at Lakshmi, taking her autographs. The tension started at 4PM, when a mob of college students entered the location.
In a while, they started shouting and surrounded Lakshmi and the mean ones tried to touch her. The security personnel failed to control such a crowd and she was saved by Camera man Chelladurai and other unit members, who reacted quickly and escorted Lakshmi to her car. "It was nightmarish" concedes Lakshmi, "I don"t want to make it a big issue, fans do such activities out of love and affection, but there wasn't much mishap as reported in local media".
