Delhi Gang Rape: 4 Men convicted!

A special Delhi court have delivered he judgement by convicting four men guilty of gang rape and murder of a 23-year-old paramedical student in moving bus in December, 2012.

While pronouncing the judgement of the Delhi Gang Rape case, Judge declared four of the accused as convicts as they were found guilty of gang rape, destruction of evidence and murdering a helpless victim. The judge opined inserting an iron rod repeatedly into the body of the victim and pulling out an internal vital organ by hand as an attempt to kill the victim.

"The court found Mukesh (26), Vinay Sharma (20), Pawan Gupta (19) and Akshay Singh Thakur (28) guilty of gang rape, attempt to murder, unnatural offences, dacoity, destruction of evidence, conspiracy, kidnapping or abducting in order to murder. 18 internal injuries is an act of ensuring death to the victim," the judge said.

The court will decide on the sentencing of the accused Tomorrow. Finally, the Delhi Gang Rape case has neared completion. Will the harsh punishment reduce crime rate against women in the country?
