Ram Gopal Varma expressed his anguish on the Cigarette warnings in movies we find these days. He blamed Politicians for taking it for granted that people are either dumb or idiots and spoil the movie watching experience with grotesque close-ups of diseased lungs and mouths while screening the films in theatres.

The controversial director complained he hasn't seen a single smoker giving up smoking since he was a kid because of the millions of anti-smoking campaigns. He questioned why should non-smokers who pay money to see the likes of Hrithiks and Katrinas suffer grotesque visuals of diseased lungs and mouths.

Ramu made sarcastic comments like quotes like 'Gambling is Bad' should appear when in a film people play cards, 'Drinking is Unhealthy' when someone drinks, 'Murder is a crime and it carries death penalty' when someone kills someone, 'Adultery will make you burn you in hell' when someone is having an affair, 'Practice safe sex' when someone is making love.

Finally, RGV commented, "Government's logic is to force us to learn at the movies what they failed to teach us at educational institutions. Mera Bharat Mahaan..Jai Ho".
