In the wake of Lok Sabha polls likely to be scheduled in early 2014, Surveys on who will have the better chances to form the government has been appearing on the day-to-day basis.

The CNN-IBN - The Hindu Election Tracker survey predicts none of the two leading National political parties (Congress led UPA, BJP led NDA) could achieve the seats anywhere close to the half-way mark of 272 out of 545 Lok Sabha seats.

In case if the Lok Sabha polls are held in July 2013, UPA will be winning between 149-157 seats, NDA score goes up to 172-180 seats and Others would get 147-155 seats (including Left Parties: 22-28 seats, Samajwadi Party: 17-21 seats, BSP: 15-19 seats).

As per the survey, Regional parties will play a crucial role in the formation of government. Trinamool Congress: 23-27 seats, AIADMK: 16-20 seats, Janata Dal (United): 15-19 seats, Biju Janata Dal (BJD): 12-16 seats, YSR Congress: 11-15 seats, Rashtriya Janata Dal: 8-12 seats, Telugu Desam Party: 6-10 seats and TRS: 5-9 seats.

The survey says AP Congress would win 11-15 seats. However, actual situation in the state is quite different and ruling party mayn't win at least half of that if polls were held in the next few months.
