Chennai express is equal to IPL team

Finally the day has arrived to conclude the total collections of Chennai Express and according to sources the film collected whooping amount of 300 crores.The film surpassed all the existing records to become as highest grosser of Indian Cinema.

The film joined in the 300 crore club along with earlier Bollywood flicks 3 Idiots, Ek Tha Tiger and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.Finally Bollywood Badshah Shahrukh khan is the happy man and of course he need to bag the total money as he was the one who produced the movie under his Red Chillies Banner.Shahrukh tried very hard and used all his relations to market the movie and all his efforts showed stunning outcome in form of whooping collections.

ShahRukh was on cloud nine and expressed his joy about the record breaking movie and he compared the movie with his IPL franchisee Kolkata Knight Riders.Shahrukh bought his IPL team by investing 230 crores in 2008.

The movie made with budget of 70 crores and collected the huge amount of 300 crores.So shahrukh bagged the profit of 270 crores which is equal to the cost of his IPL team
