Hero Karthi clarified he is not on any of the micro blogging sites like Facebook or Twitter and appealed to the fans not to believe the fake accounts which were created in his name. The actor made these comments after he came to know through his Malaysia fans that few people were raising funds using these accounts.
Karthi made it clear he is not involved in any fund-raising activities either for his family operated Agaram or any other organisation. "Few people are misusing my name and I appeal to the fans to be aware of it," he said.
Several celebs have encountered a similar problem with few people trying to cash their popularity using the social media and it was the innocent fans who gets cheated in the end. The only solution to this problem is to check the authenticity of the fund-raising activities before donating from your pocket.
