Ever since the first look of Nayantara's woman-centric flick 'Anamika' was unveiled, an interesting update about the film is making rounds. Here it is
Actually, The film 'Anamika' is a Telugu-Tamil remake of Bollywood film 'Kahaani' in which Vidya Balan, the lead character, appears as a pregnant woman. It is learnt that Sekhar Kammula has made a lot of changes to the script to suit the tastes of South Indian audience.
To everyone's surprise, Nayantara isn't going to be seen as a pregnant women in the remake and Sekhar has also included an unexpected twist that we couldn't find in the original. The dusky siren will be seen just as a married woman going in search of her missing husband to a new place.
For the first time in his career, Sekhar Kammula is directing a remake but he made sure the film has his mark. Music of the film is by MM Keeravani and Cinematography is by Vijay C Kumar. 'Anamika' is slated for release during Dussehra this year.
